At a distance of about 8 km east of Parikia we come across another very popular destination, Naoussa. Naoussa is the most cosmopolitan village of Paros, with intense nightlife. It is also one of the island’s main fishing villages.
Naoussa is a base for many yachts as its bay is protected from the north. Despite the great tourist development, the quaintness of the town has not been lost. In the port of Naoussa, or the port of the pirates as it used to be called, you will find the Venetian castle.
Walking further along the picturesque alleys you will find many taverns as well as bars – cafes which in the summer are crowded with people.
