East of Naoussa you encounter Santa Maria, an area that has developed particularly in recent years. It is 2km away from Naoussa and 12km from Parikia. The beach is divided into two smaller beaches, has white sand and crystal clear waters. The first beach is known as Santa Maria Camping. Then, 1km past Santa Maria Camping, on the right-hand side of the road, you come across the second beach, Santa Maria.
The busier of the two is Santa Maria Camping. It also affords you a view of the island of Naxos. Santa Maria Camping is organised with sunbeds, parasols and beach bars. You can relax while listening to the music from the beach bars and enjoying the view. Santa Maria Camping is an ideal choice for windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. A large part of the beach remains open and unorganized.
As almost all the beaches of Paros, Santa Maria has easy vehicular access. Apart from taxis, there are also frequent bus routes from Naoussa to Santa Maria.
