Rental Terms
All rental prices include third-party insurance, unlimited kilometres, helmets and taxes/vats.
The driver must be a holder of European driver’s licence issued at least 1 year ago or International driver’s licence.
The renter is liable for damage caused to the rented vechicle.
All vehicles have to be returned with the same amount of fuel as given.
Warranty / Waiver
Our employee may ask you for an amount as a warranty upon delivering your vehicle to you. The deposit will be returned after the rental, provided all conditions have been met. The amount of the warranty varies depending on the category of the vehicle.
- For scooters the warranty is €300.
- For quads / ATVs the warranty is €400.
- For cars of categories A-B-C-D-E the warranty is €500.
- For cars of categories I-L-M the warranty is €1000.
Reservation cancellation policy
In case of cancellation of the reservation (for any reason) up to 1 month prior to arrival, the deposit is 100% refunded.
Upon cancellation (for whichever reason) up to 21 days prior to arrival, your advance payment is 50% refunded.
Upon cancellation (for whichever reason) within 21 days prior to arrival, your advance payment is NOT refunded.
If the renter does not meet the rental requirements (diploma, age, credit card) DK Rentals is not liable and may cancel the reservation without refunding the deposit.
It is noted that DK Rentals is not liable for any cancellations / delays of aircrafts. In any such case, the tenant must inform the company in good time of the modification / change of his/ her booking.
Additional Coverage
When you pick up your vehicle, you may decide to buy extra coverage to reduce your deductible or to cover what is not covered by standard insurance (THD).
None of the additional insurances cover tires and windshields.
Important information
At the rental point you will sign a rental agreement before receiving the key to the car. It is important that you read the agreement carefully. If anything is unclear, discuss it with our staff before signing.
DK Rentals reserves the right to refuse you a vehicle if, in the opinion of our staff, the driver is unfit to drive or if any member of the group is violent, threatens or in any way endangers the health and safety of other persons. In such an event, you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
Before you leave, you must check the vehicle and make sure you report any damage to our staff (to better serve you, a useful idea would be to take pictures of the vehicle).
